After graduating from Elon University with a degree in Sport and Event Management, I fell in love with the Carolina blue skies and decided to make this my home. I honed my skills at a local rental and event décor company before taking the leap to start my own business.
Now, with years of experience behind me, I specialize in creating flawless events that blend curated design with seamless logistics. My mission is to transform your vision into reality, delivering stress-free planning and unforgettable moments that reflect your unique story.

OWNER & DESIGNER
Hi, I’m Carrie Spicher Relyea! My love for creating unforgettable moments started at my grandmother’s eclectic home. Every Thanksgiving, she would craft stunning tablescapes with her finest china, while she and my mother worked together on timelines, menus, and every detail to make each holiday truly special. Inspired by their creativity, I challenged myself to follow in their footsteps—designing floral arrangements, setting tables, assigning seats, cooking, and creating the endless lists that made every event unforgettable.
My passion for events deepened when I assisted with my first wedding in high school. From that moment, I was hooked. Summers spent interning with event planners in Washington, D.C., gave me invaluable experience in everything from weddings to corporate events.
When I’m not planning events, I’m spending time with my husband Mike, our son Archie, and our golden retriever Charli. I love discovering new foods, antiquing for one-of-a-kind treasures, and hunting for those perfect pieces to bring a little of my grandmother’s timeless charm into my own home.

Cammy Wade, a proud Marylander with a love for lacrosse and her German Shepherd, Diesel, is an essential part of the Carrie Anne Events team. Whether she’s assisting Carrie on wedding days, coordinating for our month-of clients, or sending you updates in your inbox, Cammy is always one step ahead. With her keen attention to detail and dedication, she’ll ensure your wedding day is nothing short of perfect.
